OBJECTIVE:
This program provides an intensive English as a Second Language instruction to those with little or no English skills. Students can expect to develop sufficient competency in English to function on a job and to participate effectively in the American society.
Students will develop proficiency in all English skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. These skills will help the students to:
Perform more effectively in a job using improved English language.
Obtain employment using skills learned previously which could not be utilized due to a lack of English language skills.
Obtain admission to academic or vocational training requiring improved English language skills.
OCCUPATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
Graduates of this program will be able to use improved English language skills to perform present jobs more effectively or to get computer training at our facility.
